For me, a blank page isn’t intimidating; it’s exciting. It’s a space full of possibilities, where ideas take shape and creativity has room to lead.
I’m Melissa Corrigan, a creative leader and graphic designer who loves transforming concepts into visuals that connect people, brands, and purpose. My approach blends strategy and intuition—sometimes soft and refined, other times bold and expressive—always guided by what best serves the story. I find as much meaning in the quiet power of white space as I do in layered details that add depth and dimension.
Over the years, I’ve led and collaborated on a wide range of work, from brand identities and marketing systems to websites, campaigns, and custom visual experiences. I enjoy guiding creative direction, mentoring designers, and partnering with stakeholders to bring clarity, cohesion, and high standards to every project. I’m fluent in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, and Express, with hands-on experience using AI-driven tools such as Firefly and ChatGPT to support ideation, content exploration, and faster iteration. I also bring experience in motion and video design using After Effects and Premiere Pro.
At heart, I’m driven by curiosity, collaboration, and a deep respect for the creative process—especially where design, leadership, and technology intersect. Every project is an opportunity to experiment thoughtfully, refine with intention, and bring ideas to life in ways that feel purposeful, human, and inspiring.

"As our creative lead for almost 10 years, Melissa crafted the art of our brand stories, weaving concepts and copy into inspirational designs that moved client goals ahead. I often called her ‘the other side of my brain’ – able to interpret brand strategy through original artwork that uniquely reflected a client. Her design talents are matched by her dedication to pushing her creative range, and her willingness to learn new skills and new technologies. I’m proud to have the spark of her imagination across our portfolio at Allegory and CultureTalk."

"The creative is the place where no one else has ever been. You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition."
